As battery energy storage systems become larger, more sophisticated, and increasingly critical to grid reliability, project success depends on much more than selecting a battery vendor.
PGS Energy's LIVE In-Depth Seminar: Grid Batteries – Valuation, Design, Procurement, and Operations provides a comprehensive, real-world education covering the complete lifecycle of utility-scale BESS projects—from market valuation and use-case analysis through system design, procurement, commissioning, operations, and advanced software and controls.
Participants learn how to maximize project value through stacked services, optimize sizing and technology selection, develop procurement strategies, evaluate suppliers, understand warranties and performance testing, and navigate today's rapidly evolving regulatory and market landscape.
The course is taught by Dr. Randell Johnson, CEO of Acelerex, and incorporates practical lessons from Acelerex's work delivering advanced EMS, SCADA, Power Plant Controller (PPC), Grid Analytics, Digital Twin, commissioning, optimization, and owner's engineering solutions for utilities, developers, IPPs, and investors worldwide. Rather than focusing solely on battery hardware, this seminar demonstrates how advanced software, analytics, automation, and operational strategies transform battery assets into high-performing grid resources capable of delivering maximum technical and financial value throughout their lifecycle.
